Vanilla Strawberry Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata ‘Renhy’)

Right away you think of scoops of ice cream — big scoops of vanilla piled high on an upright, vase-shaped shrub, growing 6-7 feet tall by 4-5 feet wide. Early on, blossoms turn strawberry pink then mature strawberry red. You’ll have a very showy hydrangea!

BloomsBlooms: July – September
ExposureExposure: Full sun to part shade
TypeType: Deciduous shrub

Blooms in late summer when few other shrubs are in flower. Looks good planted in groupings or as a specimen plant.
