Brome Sedge (Carex bromoides)
Brome Sedge is a finely textured, elegant ground covering sedge that grows in beautiful medium to bright green tufts. It prefers partial shade and a rich soil with consistently moist to somewhat wet conditions. It is capable of tolerating sitting water for brief periods. Under the right conditions it is easy to grow. Its uniform and finely textured foliage creates a dramatic ground cover or backdrop for more coarsely textured plant partners.
